Still life photography
The still life photography workshop is for individuals and small business and creatives who would like to learn how to take photographs on the phone or digital camera. Mary realized that it is not always practical or affordable to hire someone to take images for you or your business. It is an ongoing process to communicate about your products and designs and she can help you to become more confident to do this for yourself. Simple still life photography and editing skills are essential for all makers and businesses.
In this workshop you will learn simple set ups and editing tips for the phone and computer. You will also have the opportunity to discuss individual needs and discuss your own style and work.

An introduction to photography
In this workshop you will gain skills and confidence in how to create an image. It is suitable for anyone who wants to explore the possibilities of photography and developing creative skills at the same time.
We will look at composition, lighting and perspective. You will learn the basics of how and when to use aperture and shutter speed and iso. It is suitable for both phone and digital camera and can be adapted to what you have available to you. It will also include some simple editing tips.
how to create interesting and meaningful images
Creative Photography Course
In this course you will gain skills and confidence in how to create an image. It is a 6 week course exploring different themes such as light, shade, texture, composition and storytelling. It will look at how we make photographs from a creative perspective and how we can use the camera and editing software to make interesting and meaningful images. It is suitable for those with a digital camera and phone and can be adapted to what you have available to you.
It will include learning about how to use shutter speed and aperture settings and light to help create the images you want. If you would like more information please get in touch here.
